According to a clip from Kelly’s SiriusXM show shared by the New York Post, the conservative commentator called Collins a “cold-hearted bitch” and jokingly gave her a “pro tip” on how she could improve.

Kelly showed a clip last week in which Collins told “Real Time” host Bill Maher that CNN was fair and agreed that Democratic candidate Kamala Harris should be available to the media.

To illustrate the bias she accused Collins of, Kelly showed a clip in which the CNN star correctly tells Donald Trump that the 2020 election was not rigged and reminds him that the dozens of lawsuits he and his allies have filed have been unsuccessful. She followed that with more clips from CNN. She disputed Collins’ characterization of her network as fair.

The worst of Kelly’s attacks on Collins did not appear to appear in the YouTube video of the segment, but was included in the full recording of the broadcast on her channel. In the clip, captured by the New York Post, Kelly refuted Collins’ defense of CNN’s reporting.

“I would point out that her greatest sin is not that she is biased, although she is; she is boring, she is extremely boring and has no personality.”

“I have a pro tip for them: Smile. Try to smile every now and then,” Kelly continued. “Try not to be as cold-hearted as you are during your performance all the time, because that doesn’t give people any connection. You can be a tough interviewer and still exude some warmth.”

CNN declined to comment to HuffPost on Kelly’s comments about its host.
