Allison Holker has found love again.

One and a half years after the death of her late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss, So you think you can dance The 36-year-old star gave an insight into her new relationship.

“❤️” was the simple caption for her social media soft launch on Wednesday, August 28. The only photo she shared on her Instagram account showed two shadows in which she appeared to be holding the hand of a mystery man.

In the comments, the mother of three received a lot of support from her fans.

“❤️❤️Love has a way of renewing itself, even after the deepest losses,” one person began.

“Finding the courage to open your heart again after such a journey speaks to the resilience of your spirit and the beauty of the love you have shared. May this new chapter bring you the joy, companionship and peace you so richly deserve, and honor the love you will always carry in your heart as you embrace the possibilities of tomorrow,” they concluded.

“Life is meant to be lived and loved. You teach your children it’s okay to live. ❤️ Wishing you all the luck,” another added.

Holker and Boss are parents of daughters Weslie (16) and Zaia (4) and son Maddox (8).

After Boss’ death in 2022 at age 40, Holker told PEOPLE that her children – daughters Weslie, 16, and Zaia, 4, and son Maddox, 8 – handled the loss of their father with “so much grace and so much kindness.”

“We have always had a very close bond as a family,” said Holker. “But now it has reached a new level. Respect, patience and understanding are at a new level. And the conversations I can have with my children are incomparable to anything I have ever experienced with other families.”

“It came from something so sad and painful, but it only brought us together,” she added.

Speaking to PEOPLE in June, Holker said she remains hopeful of finding love again.

“I think I’m a person that always says the quote, ‘Romanticize your life.’ And I think even though I’ve been through so much, I still believe in living a big life. There hasn’t been a moment where I haven’t thought to myself, ‘I still want to live a big life,'” she continued. “I still want to have love, I still want to travel the world. I still want to see and experience new things with new people, new energy, my friends, my family, a loved one – a potential one – and my children.”

“I want them to see that they can learn to trust and love again. That doesn’t have to go away,” Holker said, adding of the possibility of going out again: “I would welcome it.”
