Afshan Azad-Kazi is a mother of two children!

The actress, best known for her role as Padma Patil in Harry Potter Franchise, welcomed her second baby with husband Nabil Kazi on Thursday, August 8.

Azad-Kazi, 35, shared her exciting news on Instagram, posting a photo of her baby daughter in a white onesie with embroidered lemons. “By the grace of God, our perfect baby girl came into this world on 8/8 and completed our little family. 💗 Sub’han’Allah 🤲🏾🥰,” Azad-Kazi wrote.

“I feel so blessed to give my Kyra a little sister and best friend for life – something I could only dream of. 🥹 (Kyra looks like such a big girl now 😭) It was definitely my destiny to be the mother of a girl forever 💘🤘🏾.”

“Going to take some much needed time off to rest and recover and as a MOMMY OF TWO, soak up every single deliciousness my newborn has to offer with my family 🥹😭😩😮‍💨 Thank you for all the well wishes and love. 🥰🩷,” she concluded her caption.

Azad-Kazi announced on Instagram in April that she was expecting her second baby with Kazi, posting a photo of her three-year-old daughter Kyra placing her hands on her baby bump.

“This year is a very special Mother’s Day to celebrate our growing family. 🥰🩷🤰👶🏽👨‍👩‍👧,” wrote Azad-Kazi, who announced the news on March 10, Mother’s Day in the UK. “Pray for me and my family. Allah Humma Barik. 🤲🏾.”

In 2021, Azad-Kazi announced that she was expecting her first baby with her husband and shared a photo of herself cradling her baby bump on Instagram in honor of Mother’s Day.

“The secret is out folks – I’m going to be a mom!!! 😭🥰,” Azad-Kazi wrote under the photo. “We thank Allah SWT for giving us our greatest blessing yet 🤲🏽✨.”

“Our hearts are full of love, excitement and nervousness!” she continued. “It won’t be long now, please pray for all of us.”

Azad-Kazi made them Harry Potter debuted in 2005 and appeared in five films in the franchise. She married Kazi in 2018 and had two wedding ceremonies.

One of her ceremonies took place at Symphony Hall Birmingham and was attended by several of her acting colleagues, including Wright and Katie Leung.

“Got married and moved out of Manchester to start a new life,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Thank you to my incredible family and friends, I am nothing without you. Best wedding ever, even if I do say so myself! Pray for us. ❤️👰🏻🤵🏻 #KazadWedding #RoyalWedding.”
