Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis and David Holmes from “Harry Potter” have an enchanting reunion

Although the Harry Potter Films that concluded over a decade ago, that doesn’t mean the cast and crew have forgotten each other. Understandably, the film series is a defining moment for their careers, and it’s clear from various interviews that they really cherish their time in the wizarding world. So if one of the people behind Harry Potter come together again, the fans are thrilled.

Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in all eight films, posted two selfies on Instagram on August 27 that his fans are absolutely loving. Felton attended a Hogwarts-themed charity event called the David Holmes Cricket Cup and posed with his former co-star Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and stuntman David Holmes. The annual event is dedicated to the stuntman who was left paralyzed from the chest down after an injury on the set of. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. Check out the funny post below:

Fans liked the post even more after reading the caption, which relies entirely on the rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin. Harry Potter. It looks like they had a lot of fun at the event! People Magazine reports that this year’s match raised money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Holmes has a personal connection to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, according to the GoFundMe page, as he was treated there after his injury and he has been an ambassador for the hospital for over a decade.

On his Instagram account, Holmes shared a video of the charity event, which was held for the 15th time this year. “An event that was organized the first year after the accident and has continued as an annual tradition since then. Many of my family and friends come to the game and money is raised for charity,” he wrote in the caption. According to the GoFundMe page, Felton has participated in seven of the 15 charity games, including the very first one in 2009.

Although most Potterheads are familiar with Holmes’ story, a wider audience learned about him through the 2023 HBO documentary David Holmes: The Boy Who Livedexecutive producer was Harry Potter Star Daniel Radcliffe. The touching and inspiring documentary features interviews with Holmes, Radcliffe and their loved ones, in which they describe Holmes’ strength after the injury and how he overcame this life-changing event. You can watch the film about Max here. Holmes has also written a book, The Boy Who Lived: When Magic and Reality Collidewhich will be released in November 2024.

Felton and Lewis have continued acting since their Hogwarts robes ended. Most recently, Felton starred in an upcoming series about Mahatma Gandhi in his younger years, and Lewis appeared in the second series of the BBC One series. Avoidance, which came out earlier this year.
