Is Escape from Tarkov PvE good or should you stick to PvP?

Is Escape from Tarkov PvE good or should you stick to PvP?

Escape from Tarkov’s relatively new PvE offering divided the global community. On one side there were the players who fell in love with Battlestate Games’ new mode, and on the other side there were the players who rebelled against it, stressing that this was “not the point of Tarkov.”

I’ve been neck-deep in Escape from Tarkov PvE for several weeks now, and I’m one of the first players to gain access to it by purchasing the controversial Unheard Edition of Escape from Tarkov.

So is Escape from Tarkov PvE good or a waste of time?

Is Escape from Tarkov PvE worth it?

Escape from Tarkov’s PvE platform offers almost everything the primary PvP platform does, but brings with it countless benefits. First, your loading times are almost completely eliminated, with some raids taking less than 20 seconds to load. That’s a huge win – especially when Escape from Tarkov has just been hit by a wipe and server queues are massive.

Speaking of which, that’s another advantage. In PvE, the game will only clear if you want it to – Battlestate Games doesn’t force you to do it. If you’re a slower player with less free time, this is a solid win because it means you can progress through the game at your own pace and reach milestones you never would have been able to achieve if you were tied to Tarkov’s typical six-month wipe schedule.

Many players have chosen to jump into Tarkov PvE to avoid the multitude of cheaters that plague the main game. It’s no big secret that Escape from Tarkov has a problem with cheaters, but they are non-existent in the PvE environment, meaning that you never be killed by a suspicious player.

And speaking of other players, PvE is also co-op, meaning you can still enjoy a raid or two with the support of friends.

Does Tarkov PvE have the same features as PvP?

Escape from Tarkov PvE Offers everything than the main game. It has the flea market, the merchant system, all the quests, and even AI-controlled PMC enemies and a full-fledged hideout. The PMCs can be a little hard to deal with at times and can be dramatically unpredictable, but overall it’s such a similar experience to the PvP platform that you often won’t notice the difference.

PvE in Tarkov still has boss characters, every map is open, and the loot loop is identical. It is possible to play through the entire game in PvE, and that includes the pesky quests that require you to kill PMCs. Some are pretty hard, like the quests to kill PMCs in certain areas, but it is still doable.

The only real The difference in Tarkov PvE is that you don’t encounter other players, which makes the session easier and more fun as you’re less likely to be sent flying across the map by a sudden suppressed sniper shot hitting you out of nowhere. In Tarkov’s PvE mode You are the only Chad.

Of course, this means you probably won’t feel the overwhelming sense of satisfaction you get after winning an intense battle, but that’s a small price to pay.

If you own Edge of Darkness or The Unheard Edition of Escape from Tarkov, you already have access to PvE. If you not If you own one of these versions, you can buy PvE for only $20 at escapefromtarkov.com and keep it forever.

Ultimately, Escape from Tarkov PvE is fantastic and a lot of fun and has brought me firmly back into the Tarkov community. The difficulty level, the short play time, the FOMO feeling and the cheaters that spoiled the fun for everyone else put me off for a long time.

Now I don’t have to worry about anything anymore – And My raids load in 30 seconds or less. What a huge win.
