The Star Wars Outlaws planets and worlds you can explore all have something unique to offer. There are five of them in total (and around most of them there’s some space you can explore with your ship). As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock the ability to travel freely between most of them, and it’s worth it, as each of them offers unique resources, challenges, and missions. If you want to get to know all of the planets in Star Wars Outlaws, check out our guide to the galaxy for the best worlds to visit.
Warning: The following guide contains minor spoilers for Star Wars Outlaws.
All planets and locations of Star Wars Outlaws
There are five planets in Star Wars Outlaws – four of them are sandbox maps for the player to explore, and one is a more story-based location. We’ll go into more detail about them below, but for now, here are all the planets you’ll encounter:
- Canton. Kay Vess’ homeworld and location of the city of Canto Bight, seen in The Last Jedi.
- Toshara Moon. A moon with a savannah-like environment and home of the Pyke Syndicate.
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The infamously lawless desert world where Luke and Anakin Skywalker were born and where you can find Mos Eisley and Jabba the Hutt.
- Akiva. A jungle world with numerous droid factories.
- Kijimi. A frozen city from The Rise of Skywalker ruled by the insect-like crime family Ashiga Clan.
Canton
More Star Wars Outlaws Guides
Cantonica is Kay Vess’ homeworld, but players won’t spend too much time there. Unlike the other planets, Cantonica is a place that players visit during certain missions, such as the tutorial. It’s not a freely accessible sandbox, meaning unless the game actively sends you there for plot reasons, you can’t go there.
Cantonica is home to Canto Bight – the gambling town where Finn and Rose search for a codebreaker in The Last Jedi – as well as the newly formed criminal faction Zerek Besh.
Toshara
The moon Toshara is a new location in Star Wars history, designed specifically for Star Wars Outlaws. A world of savannah-like plains and rocky plateaus, Toshara is home to the Pyke Syndicate, but there is a lot of criminal conflict there between them and the Crimson Dawn. It is also the world you will visit after you get the spaceship, and after that you will have to decide which planet to go to first in Star Wars Outlaws.
Tatooine
It probably doesn’t need to be explained to anyone who’s seen Star Wars, but yes – Tatooine, the birth world of Luke and Anakin Skywalker, is a freely explorable sandbox. A harsh desert world where the sands are riddled with bandit camps and settlements like Mos Eisley, which are little better. The ruling power on Tatooine is Jabba the Hutt, who resides in his palace on the north side of the map. As grotesque as he may be, the Hutts are one of the most important factions of the Star Wars outlaws, so it might be worth getting on good terms with the snail.
Akiva
The planet Akiva is a humid jungle crisscrossed by rivers and lakes, but is nevertheless home to many of the Empire’s droid factories. Players can find plenty of technicians, mechanics, and scavengers here, and there are markets for spare parts. However, navigating the rainforest can be difficult if you don’t have the Star Wars Outlaws expertise and skills to pilot your speeder above water.
Kijimi
Kijimi, the icy city from The Rise of Skywalker, is one of the game’s smaller sandboxes, as it’s mostly the central city you have to explore. Still, Kijimi’s orbit is quite busy, with a fog hiding criminal activity, and the city is home to one of the stranger factions of outlaws: the Ashiga Clan, a hive of insects led by a stern queen.
