3D platformer “Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed” launches free demo on all platforms

THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp Studios have released a new trailer for their upcoming 3D platform game Disney Mickey Epic: Re-Brushed and announced that a demo is now available on all platforms ahead of the game’s release later this month.

In particular, the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, eShop and Steam are offering this free demo, giving potential players a quick taste of what this reimagined 3D platform adventure has to offer.

Pre-orders are available digitally and will grant 24 hours early access and the Costume Pack DLC, which includes the Steamboat Willie, Brave Little Tailor, and Football outfits. This costume pack is available separately for $4.99.

This reimagined Wii version adds a wealth of new content, most notably new movement abilities such as sprinting, ground shoving, and dashing. During the game, Mickey explores the Wasteland, a realm of forgotten Disney characters, using his magic brush to restore and alter the layout of the environment, leading to secrets.

Walt Disney’s first creation, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, is featured alongside virtual Disney pins. Players can look forward to platforming challenges inspired by cartoons and short films.

Disney Mickey Epic: Re-Brushed will be released on September 24, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
