Kelly Ripa is not a normal mother.
In fact, the Emmy winner received an award-worthy response after she and Mark Consuelos’ daughter Lola Consuelos posted a topless sunbathing photo to Instagram on August 22, captioning it, “Is this modest?”
Without batting an eyelid, the co-host of “Live With Kelly and Mark” – in the style of the popular TikTok trend started by influencer Jools Lebron – commented on the post, saying: “It’s very mindful.”
The carousel of images, set to her soundtrack “Paranoia Silverlining,” shows Lola Consuelos in one shot wearing a bandana and not much else. In the second image, she’s wearing a moss green bikini while lying on her stomach and tanning her back.
It’s no surprise that the longtime talk show host wasn’t bothered by her daughter’s revealing photo. She and Mark Consuelos regularly share thirst traps of each other on social media, in addition to their flirting on camera on “Live.”
In April, the couple talked about how their relationship has changed after 28 years of marriage since they began hosting “Live With Kelly and Mark” together.
“I just feel like a good marriage comes from within,” Ripa, who also has sons Michael Consuelos (27) and Joaquin Consuelos (21) with Mark Consuelos, told E! News at the time. “And it doesn’t matter what industry you’re in. If you have a solid foundation at home, then your foundation is solid no matter what you do for a living.”
To say that Mark Consuelos is proud of his wife Kelly Ripa would be an understatement! Kelly is on the 2024 Time 100 list and her co-host of “Live with Kelly and Mark” couldn’t stop gushing about his wife on the red carpet at the Time 100 Gala.
As for her 23-year-old daughter, Lola Consuelos has earned respect in her own right since graduating from New York University in 2023 thanks to her beautiful voice and impressive online covers of hits like Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso.”
And she’s been inspired by some of the biggest music acts of the moment. Earlier this month, Ripa opened up about the Disney Channel star who inspired her only daughter.
“Miley Cyrus has been such an impact on her life,” Ripa told E! News’ Francesca Amiker at the Disney Legends Awards on August 11. “And ‘Hannah Montana’ was such a big show in our house.”
