Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is one of many games coming to Switch in the near future, and if you didn’t get a chance to play it at this year’s Gamescom, you might be in for a surprise.

THQ Nordic informed fans today that they should “stay tuned” if they missed the demo at this year’s big gaming event, which took place in Germany last week. This has led to speculation that a “public demo” could be on the way, and as you can see in the shot below, the photo shows an image of the demo from Gamescom:

Like many other surprises popping up today, this one is timed to coincide with the recent announcement that Nintendo will be hosting a Partner Showcase. It was also noted that Rebrushed was part of Nintendo’s previous Partner Showcase in February 2024.

“It was a rough experience replaying some of the original Epic Mickey before heading to Gamescom this year, but everything on show for this remake far exceeds our expectations. While it could have easily become a rip-off with a well-known IP, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed seems to have been treated with the same care as a remake of a true classic, turning the flawed cult classic that the original was into a solid platforming adventure starring the big rat in shorts.”
