BACHELORETTE fans were convinced that Jenn Tran and Pete Davidson were having a secret affair after Monday’s Fantasy Suite episode.
During the show, Jenn and finalist Devin, an entrepreneur from Houston, Texas, enjoyed a romantic night alone, after which she compared him to the comedian.
Jenn and Devin, 28, were shown lying in bed and enjoying a relaxing morning together in Hawaii.
The PA student reflected on her evening, as well as the fact that her Bachelorette suitor was a celebrity lookalike.
“People say Devin looks like Pete Davidson, but after last night, I’d say he’s better than Pete Davidson… in every way,” she said, laughing and smiling in a confessional.
Jenn and Bachelor Nation fans online have been comparing Devin to Pete since the beginning of the season.
After her comment, fans were convinced that the reality TV star and 30-year-old Pete must have had a secret affair.
“BETTER THAN PETE DAVIDSON IN EVERY WAY?!?! Oh the hell-,” one commenter posted on X, adding a GIF of Steve Harvey with his mouth open.
“‘After last night, Devin is way better than Pete Davidson. In every way.’ OHHH THEY DID IT,” a second viewer shared.
“Is Jenn saying she slept with Pete Davidson?” asked a third fan.

A fourth fan shared Jenn’s quote, adding: “OOOOOOOOOOOKAYYYYYYY JENN.”
The discussion continued on Reddit, where one fan asked, “I had to rewind…did Jenn really just admit on national TV that she was with Pete Davidson?”
“The Pete Davidson comment was completely out of thin air! Is she saying Devin is tall or that she slept with Pete too? I don’t get it,” someone else wondered.
JENN’S CRUSH?
Shortly after Devin was introduced in the season 21 premiere, fans began speculating that he looked like Pete.
In an interview with Decider, Jenn was asked about his resemblance to the Bupkiss star.
“You described in the premiere that Devin plays Pete Davidson, so I just wanted to ask if Pete might be a celebrity crush of yours,” the interviewer asked.
“It’s funny. Pete – he was always that funny guy you see on TV and I think if I had met Pete Davidson in person I would probably have a crush on him, but no.

SCHEDULE CHANGE
In the run-up to the episode, fans were particularly looking forward to a change in the program.
Before Monday’s Fantasy Suite episode, ABC announced that the finale of “The Bachelorette” will not air as scheduled.
“Fantasy Suites” aired Monday and Tuesday, August 27; fans can tune in for “Men Tell All.”
Normally the finale would follow the following Monday, but because of the Labor Day holiday the episode was postponed.
The Bachelorette finale airs Tuesday, September 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
ESTIMATES ARE FALLING
The news came amid a sharp decline in ratings.
Season 21 of The Bachelorette premiered on Monday, July 8, and was watched by 2.801 million fans, according to TVSeriesFinale.com.
The following week, the show saw a 15.17 percent drop in viewership and continued to lose viewers throughout the season.
The viewership of episode 4 fell by 16.85 percent compared to the previous week, but rose by 11.62 percent in the following week.
In the episode on August 19, the number of viewers fell again by 9.75 percent; it only reached 2.314 million viewers.
However, it is unclear whether ratings played a role in the decision to postpone the finale date.
