Death Eaters return to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios

Just in time for spooky season, Universal Studios announced today that Death Eaters will be returning to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida to terrorize all guests. They will populate the Diagon Alley section, so be sure to grab your invisibility cloak before walking the streets of the Wizarding World this fall!

According to a press release from Universal Orlando Resort Harry PotterThe Death Eaters will be present on selected days Starts on August 29th and ends on November 3rd. That is, this Thursday. What does their return mean? You should start practicing your unforgivable curses for this day:

“In this interactive live entertainment experience, guests will come face to face with Lord Voldemort’s most loyal followers, the ominous Death Eaters, as they lurk through London and into the dark streets of Knockturn Alley. These fanatical witches and wizards are not afraid to use the dark arts and will challenge guests to join them and align themselves with the Dark Lord.

Fans can also visit Borgin and Burkes in Diagon Alley to purchase Dark Arts-themed merchandise such as t-shirts, accessories and Death Eater masks – or check out the range of Death Eater wands at Ollivanders.”

Love Harry Potter but you can’t remember who the Death Eaters are? Here’s the summary. They are mentioned briefly in the first books and films, but only in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Death Eaters are Voldemort’s followers who believe that only pure-blood wizards and witches are worthy of life. True to the motto “magic is power,” this sinister group usually wears black hoods and masks. Some of the most memorable Death Eaters include Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange, and even Severus Snape – although Snape has other intentions.

In addition, Universal Studios Orlando is gearing up for 2025, which is sure to be a big year for the Wizarding World, as a very exciting Ministry of Magic-themed land is in the works.

In this new episode, guests will shop at stores like Parisian wand shop Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, sip exclusive beers, wines and cocktails at Moonshine bar, and enjoy a theatrical experience with live performances.
