USMS Summer Championships: 35 records broken in Mission Viejo

The US Masters Swimming Summer National Championships concluded on Sunday in Mission Viejo, California.

The competition produced 35 USMS records and 19 World Aquatics age group world records.

Gabrielle Rose led a group of 11 Olympians who took part in the competition, a group that also included Jeff Farrell (twice gold for the USA in 1960) and Markus Rogan (two silver medals for Austria on 12.04.2000).






Rose Bowl Masters Maurine Kornfeld102, was the oldest swimmer in the meet, but there were three other swimmers who were at least 90 and 35 other swimmers who were at least 80.
