After Bernard Tomic’s surprising departure from I’m a celebrity…get me out of here!It seems that some other camp residents also find life in the jungle difficult.
On Wednesday night’s show, Tiffany spoke about her own struggles and admitted that she found things “emotionally” difficult.
“I feel very fragile and vulnerable today,” admitted the 46-year-old. “I’m just not feeling well emotionally.”
The 80s pop star revealed why she came to the jungle: to take home the $100,000 prize money for her chosen charity, Redkite, to raise money for cancer awareness.
But she also talked about the loss of loved ones to cancer, including her mother.
“So many people have just died of cancer and that’s why I wanted to come here to raise money for cancer support and celebrate their lives,” Tiffany said with tears in her eyes.
However, the American singer admitted that staying in the South African jungle might not be the best decision for her.
“The truth is, it’s pushing me in a different direction,” she explained. “Sitting here hasn’t been good for me because I’ve just been thinking about it. It makes me sad.”
The I am a celebrity The candidate further admitted that being in the jungle made her miss her loved ones “even more”.
“I just feel trapped and going crazy thinking about how much loss I’ve suffered instead of feeling positive about everything I do,” Tiffany said. “I thought this was a chance to get over it. I just don’t think I’m OK.”
Later, however, it seemed as if Tiffany was putting her previous struggles behind her as she competed in the Tucker Trial of the day, Boulder Dash.
The star fought through her difficulties and collected all nine stars, which lifted her spirits when she returned to camp.
“Just succeeding after a tough morning,” she said. “I couldn’t have done it without my fellow celebs.”
Keep it up, girl.
