Bachelorette Jenn Tran says she has fallen in love with all four contestants, but not all of them are ready to commit

Love can be a rollercoaster, and few know that better than Jenn Tran, the star of this year’s season of The Bachelorette. From the first night she met a group of hopeful bachelors, Jenn knew the experience would change her life. Each week, she grew closer to her perfect match and explored the ups and downs of dating multiple men while staying true to her heart.

On the August 19 episode, Jenn met the families of the four men. Each family visit had its ups and downs. Jenn found that she liked all of the men better, but not all of them seemed ready for a serious commitment. Let’s take a closer look and find out who she ends up picking up.

Devin’s hometown is Houston, Texas

The episode began with Jenn visiting Devin’s hometown of Houston, Texas. Despite initial doubts about their connection, Jenn was surprised to see how her relationship with Devin had developed over time. Her day began with a fun visit to Devin’s running club. There, all of his friends wore t-shirts with Jenn and Devin’s faces on them. This was their way of showing their support for Jenn and Devin.

Then Devin’s friends asked him what he liked about Jenn. He replied, “She accepts me 100% for who I am.” Jenn then met Devin’s family, including his mother, father, grandparents, and brother. Devin’s father Temo was especially interested in hearing how his son felt about Jenn. Devin didn’t hold back, saying he was “pretty sure” he loved Jenn and could see a future with her.

Jenn shared similar sentiments with Devin’s mother, Jennifer, who then advised her son to be open about his feelings. At the end of the date, Devin told Jenn that he loved her. To which Jenn replied, “I’m falling in love with you so much.”

Visit to Jeremy’s hometown

Next, Jenn traveled to Fairfield, Connecticut, where Jeremy took her to a local grocery store. Jenn met Jeremy’s family, including his mother Karen, his stepfather Michael, and his sisters Lindsey and Emily. While Jeremy was confident about his relationship with Jenn, his family wasn’t entirely convinced.

His sister had doubts about whether he was ready for engagement. When Jenn confronted Jeremy about it, he reassured her and said he was “ready for it with the right person” and that he was falling in love with her. This made Jenn really happy and relieved.

Jonathan’s hometown is San Diego

Jenn’s third visit took her to San Diego, where she met Jonathan and his family. The day began with a game of lacrosse, but Jenn was concerned that Jonathan wasn’t being completely open about his feelings. Jonathan admitted that while he could “see something here,” he wasn’t ready to admit he was in love. This worried Jenn.

However, after talking to his family, Jonathan seemed to gain the clarity he needed. Jonathan’s sister-in-law encouraged him to open up more. She also shared that her own relationship progressed quickly and she is now happily married. After that conversation, Jonathan said to Jenn, “I’m falling in love with you.” Jenn responded, “I’m falling in love with you too.”

Marcus’ hesitation is cause for concern

Jenn’s final hometown visit took her to Tacoma, Washington, where she met Marcus’ family. Her day started off on a positive note, with Marcus sharing stories about their adventurous first date skydiving. However, during his conversation with his dad, Marcus admitted that while he “really, really liked” Jenn, he wasn’t in love with her yet.

Jenn, who already had strong feelings for Marcus, shared her worries with his sister Gabriella. She confessed that while she was falling in love with Marcus, she was afraid of getting her heart broken. Gabriella encouraged her brother to express his love and let go of his fears. At the end of the day, Marcus confessed that he was indeed falling in love with Jenn. Jenn was touched by the sincerity of his family and Marcus.

The rose ceremony

As the episode came to a close, the remaining four men discussed their feelings over a round of beers. Everyone was hopeful, but there were only three roses available. In the end, Jenn gave roses to Marcus, Devin, and Jonathan. This meant Jeremy had to go. Jenn even explained her decision, saying that while she saw a future with Jeremy, it wasn’t quite there.

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
