Meg Kelly has enjoyed tremendous success in her post-television career. SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show received over 30 million more views on YouTube in July than the NBC and CBS news channels, which include all of those networks’ respective programs.

According to Semafors Max TanThe former Fox News and NBC personality’s YouTube channel has 2.3 million subscribers to her show and attracted 116.8 million views last month, easily beating NBC (78 million) and CBS (83 million).

Kelly left Fox, where her show had the second highest ratings on cable television, behind only The O’Reilly Factorfor NBC in 2017 after a hugely successful run at the conservative cable giant. Her first show at NBC, Megyn Kelly todaywas canceled in October 2018 due to controversy over her commentary on blackface and whiteface worn by children on Halloween. She was fired by NBC just months later.

The Megyn Kelly Show launched in September 2020 and moved to SiriusXM less than a year later.

Kelly told Tani, “People are used to getting their news from me on camera, so it probably sounds familiar to them.”

“I’m also half Italian and half Irish, so if you decide to watch the show, you’ll definitely pick up on the hand gestures and facial expressions that you might not always notice just listening. Given the current state of the news, sometimes an eye roll, a slap on the forehead or a pen throw is absolutely necessary,” she continued.

The podcast and radio host has indicated that she will support the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in the upcoming election, but has also been unsparing in her criticism of him. This month alone, Kelly has twice slammed Trump for his “stupid” obsession with crowd sizes and expressed her boredom with Trump’s “ramblings.”

“He talks too long — at his rallies and these exchanges and at his press conference the other day — until you kind of get bored, you lose track, you lose interest,” she argued. “That’s something you’re not used to from Trump.”
