Fans speculate that Machine Gun Kelly dedicated his first wood carving to Megan Fox’s lost pregnancy

Machine Gun Kelly has carved a boat out of wood – and says it has a very special meaning. His fans believe it is a tribute to his pregnancy with his ex-fiancée Megan Fox, which ended in a miscarriage.

The rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, recently shared a time-lapse video on TikTok of himself building a boat out of a block of wood, complete with a homemade sail and oars. “My first wood carving. For a special soul to be found again,” he captioned the video.

Throughout the clip, his 2022 song “Twin Flame” played in the background, which he previously admitted was based on the miscarriage Fox had in 2021.

Kelly has already told the story behind his song, which features a heartbeat in the background. According to the rapper, the song was originally called “One Day and 10 Weeks.”

“Then I made a song called ‘Last November.’ Neither of them expressed the sadness we felt about what I was going to keep private,” he wrote in a fanzine accompanying his 2022 album. Mainstream sell-out“And I went back to (‘Twin Flame’) and decided to continue the story. Our story.”

“I just finished the boat,” he said in the last clip of his TikTok, showing off the finished boat. “These are the final details of the ship.”

The video has been viewed over three million times and many fans left comments believing that the artwork was created as a tribute to the lost baby.

“What a beautiful tribute to your precious and beloved baby. We are all fighting to somehow keep our baby here. This is incredible. Thank you for sharing something so raw and real with us,” said one comment.

Another commenter agreed, writing, “I had a miscarriage at 17 weeks three years ago and I’m not the same so 1. I love the song and 2. as a creative person I love this side of you.”

“I love you buddy. This song hits me so hard when I think about what I’m going through right now. I’m sorry you have to experience this pain too,” wrote a third commenter.

Fox and Kelly had previously made subtle hints about a miscarriage in 2021, although neither of them had publicly confirmed the news until Fox’s poetry book, titled Pretty boys are toxic was released and she had written a poem in which she described the miscarriage in detail.

“There’s an ultrasound next to her bed, 10 weeks and 1 day… do you think she would have left a suicide note if she could?” she wrote.

“But now I must say goodbye. I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight to my chest as they rip you from within me,” Fox added. “I will pay any price, please tell me what the ransom is for her soul?”

In November 2023, the actress from “Jennifer’s Body” reported on her experience with a miscarriage on Good morning America“I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life,” Fox said. “I have three children, so it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey, together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to figure out: ‘What does this mean? Why did this happen?'”

In March, Fox confirmed that she and Kelly were no longer engaged and would no longer speak to the media about their relationship.

“I think at this point I have no comment on the status of the relationship itself,” she revealed in an episode of Alex Cooper’s Call her daddy Podcast. “What I can say is that (he) is what I call my ‘twin soul’ and there will always be a connection with him no matter what.”

“I can’t say for sure what role he will hold, but I will always be associated with him in some way,” Fox added.

“I don’t want to reveal any further details.”
