Chicagoland CARSTAR Swings for a Cure: Golfing for a good cause

Chicagoland CARSTAR participated in the Fairways for Airways golf tournament for the fifth consecutive year, raising over $28,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with 140 golfers participating, according to a press release.

“Participating in the Fairways for Airways golf tournament was an incredible experience for everyone at CARSTAR,” said Justin Fisher, owner of CARSTAR Yorkville and CARSTAR Poplar. “Seeing our community come together to support the fight against cystic fibrosis and raise over $28,000 is truly inspiring. Together, we are making a real difference in the fight against cystic fibrosis.”

“Our collective efforts to raise over $28,000 for cystic fibrosis research is a powerful reminder of the impact we can make together,” said Damien Reyna, U.S. Chief Operating Officer of Driven Brands Collision. “This tournament underscores our shared commitment to advancing the fight against cystic fibrosis and giving hope to those affected. It is always a meaningful experience for the CARSTAR community.”

A CARSTAR tent was set up on the sponsored hole and a putting contest was held that raised over $400. Each participating golfer donated five dollars and the winners received a Starbucks gift card and a pack of golf balls as a prize. The Chicagoland CARSTAR group raised a total of $10,000.

This event would not have been possible without the dedication of our CARSTAR franchisees and the tireless efforts of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Ambassador family, the Christensens.
