Kelly Ripa responded to her daughter Lola Consuelos’ topless bikini photo on Thursday.

The 53-year-old talk show host expressed her thoughts with a comment under her and Mark Consuelos’ 23-year-old daughter’s Instagram post from a sunny day at the pool.

On the cover of her carousel, Lola can be seen naked, sunbathing on a beach towel without a bikini top.

“Is this modest?” the singer captioned her post, referencing the recent viral social media trend that was seen on her British boyfriend Cassius Kidston’s birthday last month.

Ripa alluded to the same trend, commenting, “It’s very mindful.”

Kelly Ripa responded to her daughter Lola Consuelos’ topless bikini photo in a playful way on Thursday as they both made “very low-key, very mindful” references to the recent viral trend.

The “very low key, very mindful” trend is a viral catchphrase coined by content creator Jools Lebron and is now widely used to satirize stereotypical ideas of femininity and make subtle jokes about being “low key, mindful and cute” while boldly doing the opposite.

Social media users now use this expression to poke fun at these people’s ironically less reserved and less mindful posts or to harshly criticize other people for their perhaps questionable actions.

The musician had combed her dark curls back and tied them under a colorful headscarf.

Lola’s bold post follows the trend and she shared bikini photos of herself with dark sunglasses and statement earrings during her day of lounging outdoors on a cozy lounger.

In the second photo of her series, Lola can be seen lying in the same position, but this time in her olive green bikini.

In addition to Lola, Ripa and Consuelos are also parents of sons Michael (27) and Joaquin (21).

The longtime couple – who have been married for nearly 30 years since tying the knot in 1996 – recently spoke candidly about their parenting style when it comes to their children’s dating.

On the June 6 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, the couple revealed that they try to stay out of their children’s love lives.

“So, listen to this,” Ripa told her husband and co-host. “The Indian Matchmaking show brought the issue to the forefront and showed people what arranged marriages are all about. The average divorce rate across the country is about 50 percent. The divorce rate for arranged marriages is four percent. So the parents know what they’re talking about.”

Consuelos then asked them, “Would we do that for our children?”

In response, Ripa said, “I think we would choose the kids that our kids are with, we would choose those kids. If I could have personally chosen them… but I don’t want to say that.”

She added that regardless of whether they like their children’s partner or not, it is difficult to tell them what is best for them.

“You shouldn’t say too much because you know what it’s like. So you have to behave differently.”

Consuelos agreed, adding, “If you have any comments, forward them to that person.”

The two then shared their shared opinion that it was best to say “nothing” about their children’s love lives.

“Yes, if you don’t like someone your child is with and you express that, it digs in,” Ripa said.

“But if you like them too much, you think, ‘Hmm… why does my mom like them?’ Then we don’t say anything.”
