Angela’s worst fears come true when Michael leaves her

Angela’s worst fears come true when Michael leaves her

Things are officially over between one of the 90 Day Fiancés longest-lasting couple.

For the final of And they lived happily ever after In season 8, Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi provided videos to the producers of the TLC show after a multi-day “Tell-All” event in New York City in which they announced that they were going their separate ways.

“After the tell-all, we came home … and my worst fears came true,” Angela, 58, said in a selfie-like video she took in her car. “We were home for four days, I think. Four days, three days, and he was gone. He was gone.”

35-year-old Michael subsequently explained his decision to leave in his own video.

“I want to tell you my side of the story. After we told everything, we went home and as usual my wife Angie got angry. She started cursing at me and saying all sorts of things to me. Eventually it got to a point where I just had to leave,” he recalled.

“She said she wanted to run some errands, so she left the house. I went to the coat check, grabbed my backpack, important documents and jacket and left the house.”

Michael said he walked “about five hours” from Angela’s house in Hazlehurst, Georgia, and at one point “he almost got bitten by a dog,” but “God saved me.”

He then “begged a man” to use his phone to “reach one or two of my friends and they helped me get to a bus stop,” Michael continued.

He did not disclose where he shot the video, but said it took “about 18 hours” to get there.

“I’m here for the right reason, of course, yes, from the bottom of my heart, I’m here for the right reason, you know,” he said, referring to Angela’s repeated accusations that he used her to get a U.S. visa and leave Nigeria, which he was finally able to do earlier this season after seven years. “But unfortunately, what I expected was not what I found, you know.”

He concluded his video with the confession: “I just want to move on with my life.”

“Enough is enough. I mean, nobody deserves to be treated like this. And I mean, I want the best for us, for myself, but it’s just so unfortunate. I just can’t take it anymore,” he added.

Angela then briefly reappeared on screen and appeared to threaten her estranged husband. “I’ll see you soon, Michael. I’ll see you soon – either on the plane or in the courtroom. I’ll see you soon,” she explained.

Last month in an interview with Entertainment tonightMichael said he “suffered” and was “treated like a nobody” in Angela’s house.

“It’s a lot for me to leave, to have left. It got to the point where I just couldn’t take it anymore,” he admitted.
