When choosing a parking space, make sure that there are no signs indicating that parking is prohibited.
What happens if you are narrowly in a no-parking space and your neighbor calls the police to issue a parking ticket?
That’s exactly what the lady in this story had to deal with, but she found a way to get revenge in small ways.
Check it out below.
I usually park in my boyfriend’s driveway, but one day he was washing his car so it was parked in the middle of the driveway.
An honest mistake.
I parked a few houses away in front of a hedge, not near a mailbox or driveway. I didn’t see the no parking sign until the next morning.
When I saw the ticket, I knew someone must have reported it because the incident happened on a Tuesday in the middle of a large suburban area at the end of a dead-end street – cops don’t just walk around.
What a petty neighbor.
Then I read the ticket and the cop said, hey, someone sent videos and pictures, I have to give him a ticket.
So what the hell, who cares, I’m not standing in front of a driveway or mailbox, the back fifth of my car was behind the sign.
So I knew which house had reported it because I had been watching it and people usually park their trucks there.
This makes it nice and easy.
Well, I also learned that I get off work about 30 minutes earlier, so now I park my car there (and make sure it’s in front of the sign) every time I pass by.
Last time I parked there, the lady was blowing leaves into her driveway and looked ANGRY.
She was making a weird snorting noise and just standing there when she wasn’t blowing leaves, and I faked a call because I felt uncomfortable.
Like I never parked there again. I always have a spot in my boyfriend’s driveway but you had to call the police 🤷♀️
I don’t know why you want to upset your neighbors, but that’s how it will work.
Let’s see what people have to say in the comments.
No parking means no parking.
Maybe they can get out of the ticket?
It’s a perfect example of petty revenge.
It’s a mystery.
Maybe next time you should try to take the noble route.
Or maybe not.
