Dozens and dozens of Kennedys meet for the “annual family reunion”

In the video released on July 5, a large group of Kennedy family members came together to sing “Happy Birthday” to Kathleen and Chris Kennedy.

The Kennedy family had a lot to celebrate on the Fourth of July!

Kerry Kennedy posted a video of her family members singing “Happy Birthday” on Instagram on Friday, July 5. In the caption, she explained that the video was taken the day before at an annual Kennedy family gathering, which serves several purposes.

“Our annual family reunion to celebrate my older sister Kathleen, my younger brother Chris and our beloved country, all born on the 4th of July!!!” wrote Kerry, 64.

In the video, someone off-screen can be heard trying to get the Kennedy crowd to sing for Kathleen Kennedy, who turned 71 on the holiday.

Kerry’s younger brother Chris Kennedy also had his birthday on July 4th and turned 61.

In addition to footage of the birthday greetings, Kerry’s Instagram stories also included a video of members of the Kennedy family playing games outside.

Due to the grainy footage, it is difficult to identify each individual Kennedy who attended the rally, although Robert “Bobby” F. Kennedy Jr., who is running as an independent presidential candidate, did not appear to be present.

On July 4, RFK Jr. shared footage on Instagram of himself catching and releasing a rattlesnake while his wife and Curb your enthusiasm Actress Cheryl Hines watched from afar and commented.

The 70-year-old presidential candidate also shared photos of his supporters holding campaign signs in his Instagram stories on July 4 to support him and his running mate Nicole Shanahan.

RFK Jr. is a controversial independent candidate among the Kennedys, who have long been associated with the Democratic Party.

Many of RFK Jr.’s siblings supported Joe Biden for president and attended a campaign rally with him in April.

Kerry has dedicated her life to continuing the political legacy of her late father, Robert Kennedy. She heads the advocacy group RFK Human Rights and made it clear in a 2023 statement that the organization does not support her brother’s political beliefs.

“Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights is a nonprofit organization built on my father’s legacy and transformative leadership,” said the statement, released after RFK Jr. announced his candidacy for president last year.

“We hold governments accountable, require companies to adhere to human rights standards and train the next generation of leaders to become self-reliant human rights defenders,” she continued.

The activist continued her statement by addressing her relationship with her brother: “I love my brother Bobby, but I do not share or support his views on many issues, including the COVID pandemic, vaccinations, and the role of social media platforms in combating misinformation. It is also important to note that Bobby’s views do not reflect or influence the mission or work of our organization.”

RFK Jr. was also the subject of a Vanity Fair On Tuesday, July 2, an article was published in which Eliza Cooney, a former aide to the politician, claimed that he made inappropriate advances toward her 26 years ago.

The presidential candidate was questioned about the allegations in the YouTube political show Break points There he said he would “not comment” on it and called the article “a load of rubbish”.
