Eight All-Americans on the candidate list for the Doak Walker Award

The list of candidates for the 2024 Doak Walker Award was released on Tuesday afternoon. The award is given annually to the best running back in the country.

Eight former All-American Bowl athletes were placed on the watch list.

Omarion Hampton (North Carolina)

· Donald Chaney (Louisville)

· Judge Haynes (Alabama)

· Jordan James (Oregon)

· Gavin Sawchuk (Oklahoma)

Nicholas Singleton (Penn State)

Watch the annual East vs. West clash on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The All-American Bowl will be nationally televised, live on NBC and Peacock at 1 p.m. ET, and will feature the top 100 high school football players in the country.
