Machine Gun Kelly has been sober for almost a year.

The 34-year-old star spoke openly about his journey to sobriety, revealing that he hasn’t had any alcohol for almost 12 months.

During an appearance on the podcast “Dumb Blonde,” he said: “I’m completely sober. I don’t drink anymore. I haven’t had a drink since last August.”

Kelly actually spent some time in rehab after his European tour in 2023.

The rapper explained: “I haven’t told anyone except the people closest to me.

“That was my first withdrawal. They showed me so many ways to deal with my body, showed me where this anger comes from and how to suppress it.”

Kelly later admitted that his path to sobriety was a “constant balancing act.”

He said: “I have met many psychiatrists, some have given up on me, and many therapists have done the same.

“But in the end I became aware of my condition and came to terms with it. It’s a constant balancing act.”

Kelly is engaged to movie star Megan Fox and an insider recently revealed that the two have “talked about having a baby.”

The 38-year-old actress sported a baby bump in her partner’s music video “Lonely Road” and the happily in love couple have already talked about having children.

The insider told Us Weekly: “Although they talked about having a baby, it was only for MGK’s music video.”

A source previously revealed that the celebrity duo, whose relationship has experienced many ups and downs, are “trying to work through their issues.”

The insider said: “Megan and Colson have had a very up-and-down relationship. One day they’re great and the next day they’re fighting.”
