Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie receiver Jalen McMillan is considered the favorite for the third spot in the rankings after a strong performance in the preseason and training camp.

He and teammate, tight end Devin Culp, are the youngest Buccaneers to come out of the Washington Huskies program, and both want to be part of the next wave of talented players to keep the franchise’s winning streak going for as long as possible.

Nickelodeon saw the potential of these college teammates turned NFL teammates and focused on the Tampa Bay duo for its NFL Slimetime special “Rookie Spotlight.”

According to the network, “‘Rookie Spotlight’ will follow new players as they make the team and pursue their dream of becoming NFL stars. In this slimetime special, Nickelodeon follows three rookies and follows their journey from selection to training camp practice and their first preseason game.”

McMillan and Culp both played in their first NFL preseason games and delivered good results: the receiver caught two passes for 23 yards and the tight end caught a pass for six yards.

The special broadcast is the latest collaboration between the NFL and Nickelodeon, which has broadcast Wild Card Playoff games in the past and will do so again this season.

“Nickelodeon and CBS Sports recently announced that they are once again partnering with the National Football League (NFL) for the 2024 football season to create a special slime-filled NFL Wild Card game for kids and families,” a company spokesperson said. “Details about this year’s NFL Wild Card Game on Nickelodeon, which will once again air alongside traditional CBS Sports coverage on CBS and Paramount+, will be announced at a later date. This year’s NFL Wild Card broadcast on Nickelodeon will mark the sixth family-friendly collaboration between CBS Sports and Nickelodeon on an NFL game – and the third NFL Wild Card Game.”
