EPIC announces EPIC Toss Cornhole Tournament — Neuse News

New Bern, NC – August 23, 2024 – The EPIC Center is excited to announce the upcoming EPIC Toss Cornhole Tournament scheduled for Saturday, October 5th at Whitford Plantation in New Bern. The event promises a day of fun, friendly competition and community spirit while supporting an important cause – supporting women and families in Lenoir and Craven County.

The tournament begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration, followed by the first toss at 10:00 a.m. Participants can look forward to an exciting day of cornhole, with the winning team taking home $200 and a custom cornhole set. Second and third place teams will also be rewarded with $100 and $50, respectively. In addition to prizes, this event provides a unique opportunity for community members to come together, relax, and enjoy the day with friends and neighbors. The EPIC Toss Cornhole Tournament is more than just a game; it’s a chance for the community to make a meaningful impact. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the EPIC Center’s efforts to empower women and reduce barriers to motherhood.
