Undoubtedly, it seems that the Uruguayan director has achieved what was expected of him.

“Fede Álvarez does not disappoint”

Alien: Romulus is a crazy rollercoaster ride through the previous six Alien films, using bits and pieces from all of them to tell a focused, mostly standalone story full of glorious brutality and terror. It just gets better as it goes, and ends with a phenomenal third act with a big flourish.

‘The bitch is back. I was skeptical at first, but this is definitely one of the better films in the series. Fede Álvarez does not disappoint. Fantastic sound design and world building. The special effects are so good the film gave me nightmares.’

“Fede Alvarez’s #AlienRomulus is gnarly, gripping and wonderfully dark (everything from the story to Olivares’ cinematography to Wallfisch’s music). Innovative, with clever, sophisticated content, subtle renditions of the greatest hits. Cailee Spaeny and David Jonsson dominate. It’s awesome!”
