Olivia Attwood’s fiancé found out about her exit from “I’m a Celebrity” “through the news”

Olivia Attwood’s fiancé found out she left I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! ‘on the news’.

Professional footballer Bradley Dack, who plays for Blackburn Rovers, has said he had not yet spoken to the former Love Island star when news broke on Monday (07.11.22) that she had been forced to leave the jungle for medical reasons.

He told MailOnline: “She will be devastated. I think she’s OK but I haven’t spoken to her. I’m really not sure what happened. I’ve just seen it on the news, like everyone else. I’m waiting for a call.”

According to The Sun newspaper, it is now believed that the latecomers to this year’s series, former Health Secretary Matt Hancock and comedian Seann Walsh, could move into the jungle earlier than planned following Olivia’s early exit.

It is understood Olivia will be able to keep her fee for the show, which is said to be between £100,000 and £125,000, but the star admitted last night that she was “heartbroken” and insisted the situation was “out of (her) control”.

A spokeswoman said on her Instagram story: “To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement. She has dreamt of being on ‘I’m a Celebrity’ for years, has loved every second of the show and has thrown herself headlong into jungle life (just as we expected).

“However, for reasons beyond her control, her trip had to be aborted.”

I’m a Celebrity co-hosts Ant and Dec spoke about Olivia’s exit in yesterday’s episode.

Dec said: “Unfortunately, Olivia Attwood has left the jungle for medical reasons and will unfortunately not be returning.”

Ant added: “She is in tonight’s show which was filmed before she had to leave. We are very sad to see her go and wish her all the best.”

A spokesman for ‘I’m a Celebrity’ said yesterday: ‘As a precautionary measure, Olivia has had to leave the jungle to undergo some medical tests.

“Unfortunately the medical team have advised that it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as further assessments are required. She has been absolutely brilliant and we will miss her very much.”
