Danielle Harold is the fifth star to be voted out of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The 31-year-old EastEnders actress, who played Lola Pearce in the BBC soap, was knocked out of the ITV jungle when she finished in the bottom two in a public vote alongside Tony Bellew.

Presenters Ant and Dec announced her departure and the star told them afterwards that her camp mates had helped her through the challenges of jungle life.

When asked which of her campmates Josie Gibson and Fred Sirieix was the better cook, the actress took a swipe at the French “First Dates” star and said: “I’ll take Josie. I prefer home cooking.”

When Danielle left camp, her campmate Sam Thompson called her “sister,” saying, “He has literally become like a little brother to me.”

Her exit came after actor Nick Pickard became the fourth star to be sacked from the IAC on Wednesday after 19 days in the jungle – after Fred, Nella Rose and jockey Frankie Dettori were also thrown out of the show.

Both restaurant critic Grace Dent and Britney Spears’ younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears left the show before the eliminations for medical reasons.

Nick’s exit has devastated his fans, who called him a “nice guy” on social media after he was kicked off the show.

The Hollyoaks actor, who plays Tony Hutchison in the long-running Channel 4 soap, was eliminated from ITV’s jungle show on Wednesday night (06.12.23) after losing out to Josie Gibson in the audience vote after they both finished in the ‘bottom two’ places in the last elimination.

During his farewell interview, he mentioned his family, who had persuaded him to appear on the show, adding: “I’ve never been asked before, it was an honour to be asked… it was great, it was so much fun.”

Nick also said he’s keeping his fingers crossed for Made In Chelsea regular Sam to win the 2023 series, gushing about his former campmate: “(He) deserves it. Well, they all deserve it but he’s got it and I think he really wants it… he’s the lifeblood of this camp.”
