Sid Wilson, a member of the heavy metal band Slipknot, suffered “severe burns” after experiencing a fiery explosion “in the face.”
“My face and cheeks are burned,” Wilson, 47, said in an Instagram video from the hospital. “I had an explosion on my face.”
The keyboardist is seen in the hospital, with an oxygen tube and wires attached to his body. Wilson appeared to have difficulty speaking after the incident, which he later explained was caused by a campfire on his farm, which he shares with girlfriend Kelly Osbourne.

“I’m OK. I’m OK, but I have some severe burns on my face and arms,” Wilson informed his fans.
The DJ’s phone was shaking in the video after the traumatic experience. He explained that doctors took x-rays of his body to make sure he “didn’t inhale flames.”
Wilson’s face continued to show injuries, including “singed” eyebrows, a blister on his mouth, and arms covered in burn marks.

The Slipknot turntablist assured his fans that he would be “fine” after his hospital stay.
“I don’t care what it costs, see you on tour.”
Throughout the video, Wilson said his body was “burning a lot.” He continued to give updates and said doctors were taking care of his wounds.
He captioned his video update on social media with “Ouch.”
Osbourne, 39, can be heard in the background with her one-year-old son Sidney.
The TV star also posted a video on social media and said: “This is why you don’t mess with crematoriums.”

In Osbourne’s video, she showed Wilson in the background on a hospital bed.
The next clip included the text “I am at a loss for words” and Osbourne shook her head.

Meanwhile, Wilson shared a second social media video in a vehicle, explaining that doctors had taken him to another hospital with a better burn facility.
Wilson showed a close-up of his lips and said they were “burnt pretty bad.” His arm and body were bandaged after he suffered severe burns.

“The worst part is my arms… they’re going to shave my head, so I’m saying goodbye to long hair.”
He added: “I’m a brave guy… not necessarily, but I’m holding up pretty well.”
The caption of the video read: “I’m going to be OK guys. Love you all.”
Wilson warned his fans, saying, “Be very careful when dealing with fire.”
Representatives for Wilson and Osbourne did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
