New Frank Lloyd Wright debuts from Steelcase and fresh looks from Kelly Wearstler, Lulu and Georgia and more

The dog days of summer are coming to an end and slowly but surely the design world is turning its attention to the cooler seasons ahead. From a rustic Regency-style sofa to a kaleidoscopic garden-themed wallcovering, here are some of our favorite looks from the latest round of launches.

Lulu and Georgia’s fall The Joy of Decorating collection is a maximalist’s dream. The series features more than a hundred expressive designs in earthy mineral tones and bold vintage motifs, from the bulbous Dolores accent chair and pleated Portola sofa to the rattan-wrapped Kalani floor lamp and op-art-esque Nomia rug.

Steelcase has launched two new collections in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The first, Rockford, re-introduces a trio of furniture originally used in the architect’s wheelchair-accessible 1952 Laurent House, including a lounge chair with spindles and a graspable backrest, a raised ottoman and a polygonal side table that can be accessed from any angle. The second, Galesburg, pays homage to Wright’s built-in bench seating designs, offering a sofa, sectional, lounge chair and ottoman punctuated by rectilinear platform feet.

Kelly Wearstler delighted lighting lovers with a series of minimalist portable lamps. The latest release includes nine sculptural designs with metal accents and organic materials, such as the alabaster stone Una, the etched crystal lens-covered Rousseau and the hand-carved, geometric Tourne.

Rebecca Atwood has unveiled her first collection of wallpaper murals. The debut includes three enveloping designs, each available in multiple colorways and covered in ethereal hand-painted motifs, including the soothing dotted Bubbles; a softly speckled matching style to continue the pattern on a ceiling; and Hampton Park, a panoramic landscape of the designer’s favorite Charleston park.

Pottery Barn has unveiled a selection of accessible furniture made in collaboration with Michael Graves Design. Each piece in the range – which includes 17 designs from seating to box furniture – is thoughtfully designed and offers adaptable features for a range of physical abilities, such as bed frames with integrated side handles to assist with repositioning and an armchair with a chic rear grab bar that provides secure support for balancing.

Innovations’ Oasis collection transforms your client’s home into an atmospheric sanctuary. In addition to the ombre wall mural “Trellis” with flowering vines and the metallic foil-accented “Skylark,” highlights of the six-piece line include the shibori-style “Pontia” and a stunning trompe l’oeil piece called “Morpho,” modeled after butterfly wings.

Peter Dunham’s latest fabric collections are bursting with color and whimsy. In addition to expanding the palette of the medallion-like Deeg design to include two new bold colorways—teal moss/indigo on white and warm gold/olive on white—the brand has introduced Shani, a block-print-inspired floral linen available in six vibrant shades, including pale pink and lilac, as well as fuchsia and midnight blue.

McGee & Co. has released its Fall 2024 collection, a love letter to 19th-century Regency-style designs. The comprehensive launch includes hundreds of antique pieces infused with the brand’s modern rustic aesthetic. Highlights include the solid marble Twyla side table, the hand-tufted Chandler rug, and the streamlined Agatha sofa with its curved, channel-tufted backrest.

As the name suggests, Arte’s latest collaboration with Moooi, Green House, is a botanical masterpiece. Now available in showrooms, the 10-pattern collection is inspired by Victorian conservatories and includes six garden-themed wallcoverings, including the kaleidoscopic Coccinella Bella, the three-dimensional Lacy Longlegs and a veneer-inlaid beauty called Woodblock Beetle Fern.

Holly Hunt has released Series II, a new line of modern furniture designed in collaboration with the brand’s founder. The collection includes seven artfully executed pieces with avant-garde elements, such as the curved Ban and Yan side table – which can be combined to form nesting tables or used individually – and our current favorite, Ursa, an architectural lounge chair with solid wood arms and a floating upholstered seat.
