As Kelly said in one of her Instagram stories: “This is why you don’t mess with fire piles. He literally lit himself on fire and made everything explode.”
Wilson mentioned in his own video that he sustained the injuries from a “bonfire” on his farm. He explained that the burn pile had already been burned the night before, but there were still remnants. He added, “I felt a little chirp of fire.”
Wilson‘s bandmates in SLIPKNOT also released a statement on the situation, saying: “Our brother Sid Wilson had an accident today and suffered burns all over his body. He is currently recovering surrounded by his family and will still be on stage with us at Rocklahoma next weekend. He thanks everyone for the good wishes and we’ll see each other soon.”
