The teams are ready for their first kickoff of the 2024 high school football season.

Football fans are also ready for their first taste of “Friday Night Lights” since last fall.

And that goes for the Southern California News Group, which has the largest group of reporters and photographers covering high school football in the region. (We are in the Valleys – San Fernando and San Gabriel – near the beaches – South Bay and Long Beach – and throughout Orange County and the Inland region.)

We cover the most games, provide the most photos and the most updates – every week of the season.

Reporter John W. Davis will serve as host for our Friday Night Football event, making sure you see the best highlights, get the scores you want, and know what’s going on in the biggest games.

We’ll be here before the game, at halftime and after the game – coverage will continue all evening.
