Kelly Frank Kemnitz is the glue that holds MSI General Corp. together.

As the company’s administrative manager in Oconomowoc, Kemnitz works closely with employees, key partners and customers to ensure their needs are met. She handles a wide range of tasks, from organizing groundbreakings and grand openings to employee recognition events and company outings.

“It’s an energetic environment in which I thrive,” said Kemnitz.

Kemnitz, who has worked at MSI General for nearly 30 years, has initiated numerous employee surveys to help the company earn a place on the Best Place to Work list. He also leads the company’s health initiative and quarterly local fundraisers for nonprofits, said John Kutz, vice president and director of sales for MSI General Corp.

“In an industry where relationships and culture are key components to a healthy and successful organization, Kelly’s passion and skill in these areas is unmatched,” he said.

The culture at MSI General is “unmatched,” Kemnitz said.

“I enjoy working with our incredible team. By getting to know employees through our HR team’s hiring process, project teams and company events, I have the opportunity to get to know everyone,” she said.

Outside of her office, Kemnitz is involved in the community, including with Rogers Behavioral Health, the Oconomowoc Downtown Business Association and the Oconomowoc Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as an ambassador.

MSI General is “committed to supporting our community and I am honored to be able to donate to organizations that help those in need,” she said.

Kemnitz praised her mentor and supervisor Susan Butler as an inspiration. “She is an incredible role model for everyone who has had the opportunity to know and work with her,” she said.
