Family mourns Horry County mother shot dead outside daughter’s home

LONGS, SC (WMBF) – Family members need your help finding the man at the center of a complicated family affair that has now turned deadly.

On Friday, the family announced that the search had begun for the man accused of shooting their mother, 58-year-old Diana Osborne, outside her daughter’s home.

“The hunt has begun and he will not get away with it,” said Osborne’s daughter Erica Osborne.

Erica Osborne claims the father of one of her children, Ramondez Myers, was the one who pulled the trigger on Tuesday.

“This was just a really bad incident. This was not intentional. Just a really bad tragedy,” said Erica Osborne.

Erica Osborne said she held her mother as she took her last breaths and has now erected a memorial at the spot.

Many today remember Diana Osborne as a selfless wife, mother and grandmother. They said she was always working on a project, loved to garden and had a special heart for pets. Erica Osborne said Diana Osborne especially loved her koi fish.

Relatives also said Diana Osborne had a talent for hair and helped open the Allure Salon in Myrtle Beach.

Her daughter said they would continue to fight for justice for her mother.

“The detectives said they would make sure they found him,” said Erica Osborne.

The family said funeral arrangements were still underway.

Anyone with information about the shooting or Myers’ whereabouts is asked to call Horry County police at 843-915-8477.
