Saying that the spotlight will be on showrunner’s second season Michele Fazekas‘S Generation V would be an understatement. We have Hamish Linklater (Manhunt, Midnight Mass) as the new Dean and Chace Crawford‘s The Deep guest appearance in a time when the USA is now under Homelander’s (Anthony Starr) rule. In addition, The boys Showrunner Eric Kripke It’s already becoming clear that what happens during the season will lead directly into the fifth and final season of the franchise, and it’s easy to understand why fans will want to read everything that’s released.

For example, Vought International released a recruitment poster for Godolkin University (“God U”) students interested in interning at the megacorporation: “This fall, we have the opportunity of a lifetime for God U students. Apply for our internship program to gain valuable experience and offset recent layoffs in marketing and operations. Ideal candidates will be able to fly or teleport from campus to Vought Tower on nights and weekends!” Could this be a hint of what we can expect in Season 2—when the action leaves campus and heads straight to Vought Towers? It would be a way to easily explain why The Deep is there, while also further integrating the spinoff into the overarching storylines of both series.
