Broadway went downtown to experience Life And Trust: a world of money, sex and power unfolding in the heart of New York’s financial district. Life And Trust celebrated a starry Broadway night at the Conwell Tower (69 Beaver Street). Check out photos from the event.

In attendance for this special evening were stars of numerous Broadway shows, including Water for Elephants, MJ, The Outsiders, Hadestown, Little Shop of Horrors, Drunk, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Back to the Future, Harmony, Hamilton, Oh Mary!, The Big Gay Jamboree and The Great Gatsby.

The production is directed by Teddy Bergman, choreographed and co-directed by Jeff Kuperman and Rick Kuperman, and presented by Emursive. Tickets are available now through September 30, 2024 and can be purchased at www.lifeandtrustnyc.com.

Life And Trust is a site-specific theatre experience that creates a world of Faustian legends in New York on the eve of the great stock market crash of 1929. Audiences can wander through the expansive world of Life And Trust at their own pace as the lines between reality and imagination blur. Life And Trust is set in the Conwell Tower, an iconic skyscraper in the heart of the financial district, which is also home to the Conwell Coffee Hall.

The screenplay is by Jon Ronson, and production credits for Life And Trust include creative casting and movement direction by Stefanie Batten Bland, and co-choreographers and associate directors Kristen Carcone, Lauren Yalango-Grant, Christopher Cree and Emily Terndrup.

Emursive, known for its innovative productions, first wowed audiences with Punchdrunk’s “Sleep No More” at the McKittrick Hotel, produced in collaboration with Rebecca Gold Productions.

Building on this legacy, Emursive seeks to push the boundaries of live entertainment with Life And Trust as well as its other acclaimed experiences such as the dazzling Speakeasy Magick and the showgirl extravaganza Hypnotique. Emursive also produces numerous live concerts, intimate music festivals and stunning events at the McKittrick Hotel, Gallow Green, The Club Car, Manderley Bar, Conwell Coffee Hall and The Overlook Bar.
