Good Will Hunting was released in December 1997, 27 years ago. It was the film that earned Ben Affleck and Matt Damon their first Oscar. And Robin Williams also won a well-deserved Oscar for his portrayal of Dr. Sean Maguire. For a long time, I confused this film with Dead Poets Society – both uplifting stories set in universities and about understanding and using one’s own intelligence.
