World of Warcraft The War Within expansion takes players to the underground land of Khaz Algar, where they work with a dwarven race called the Earthen to fight off the threat of Xal’atath’s uprising. If we gain the trust of the Earthen, they pledge to fight for both the Horde and the Alliance, allowing players to use them as an allied race for both factions.

Who are the Earthen?
The Earthen Are Titanic Keepers’ gem-studded creationsthat were once used to develop and protect Azeroth’s underground. Over the course of a thousand years, their purpose has almost died out, but now they are being reawakened with a whole new purpose: to bewhatever they want to be.
They live mainly in their capital, Dornogolon the Isle of Dorn, and are now happy to help players avert the impending threat of Xal’atath.
Earthen Skills
The Earthen have five unique racial traits: Azerite Boost, Hyper Productive, Mineral Absorber, Titanium-Forged Body, and Wide-Eyed Wonder. Below is a comprehensive table of the effects of these abilities.

Earthen Available Classes
Earthen You can choose between nine leagues:
- hunter

Earthen Mounts
The Slate Ramolith will be added to your mount collection when Unlocking the Earthen as an allied race. In addition Paladins receive the Earthen Ordinant Ramolith.
Earthen Traditional Armor
You will receive the Heritage of the Earthen set and corresponding performance upon reaching Level 50 on each newly created earthen character; and Completing the following quest lines:
- Grief increases
- Meet Urtago and support her in fulfilling her new role.
- Defective tools
- Assist Machinist Kittrin in repairing the newly forged tools.
- Behind closed doors
- Defeat Galgann Firehammer.
How to unlock the Earthen
In order to unlock the earthen As a playable race you must Complete the achievement “Allied Races: Earthen”To do this, you must first Complete the main campaignwhich reads as follows:
- Against the current
- News from below
- A light in the darkness
- Bonds that connect
- The machines march to war
In addition, you must several other quest lines spread throughout Khaz Algar, all of which have about seven quests per quest line.
- Plans within plans
- Work with the Vizier in Azj-Cahet’s City of Threads to become allies.
- Defective tools
- Help machinist Kittrin repair old tools and make new ones.
- Merrix and Steelvein
- Work with Councilward Merrix to ensure the safety of Dorongal.
- Grief increases
- Help Urtago settle into her new role.
