Kelly Osbourne once admitted she had a “big fight” with her partner Sid Wilson over a parenting decision that many people will probably find very assignable.

Kelly and Sid had their first child together in 2022, but initially chose to remain relatively private while they settled into their new life as a family of three.

However, her mother Sharon accidentally revealed the newborn’s name on her TalkTV show. The conversation.

Grandma said, “You are just doing so well. So well.”

“She can’t stop thinking about him and I’m so proud of her.”

And the name? “Sidney,” said Sharon – a tribute to his father, a musician whose full name is Sidney George Wilson.

Kelly later wrote on Instagram that she felt it was “nobody’s job but hers” to reveal information about her child. She wrote, “I’m not ready to share him with the world. It’s nobody’s job but mine to reveal information about my baby.”

Since then, the 39-year-old has spoken openly about motherhood – in her own way, of course – and has spoken out about one particular aspect: The Osbournes Podcast.

Kelly admitted that she and 47-year-old Sid had a huge argument about their son’s last name – an important conversation, especially since the couple are not married.

“This is personal and I didn’t expect to ever talk about it, but I will,” she told the audience.

“This is the biggest fight my baby’s father and I have ever had and probably ever will have.

“I wanted our son to have both of our last names, but he wouldn’t let me. We had a huge fight. I feel like I was forced to do something I didn’t want to do, and I can never, ever, ever forgive him for that, but we can move on.”

The TV star went on to say that her son currently “does not have a double name yet,” but that this will be the case in the next few weeks.

“After many insightful conversations (with Sid) and couples therapy, he saw the light,” she explained.

“We will officially change our son’s name so that he keeps both surnames.”

Musician Ozzy, 75, joined in the conversation, applauding the announcement and adding: “Well, it’s in his favor.”

His daughter further confirmed: “We both fathered our child, so it should have both of our last names.”
