Six months after its launch, the game has finally found its way onto Valve’s Steam platform. However, it seems that no one is interested in the game, as players are criticizing the developer for the “AAAA game” Label.

Skull and Bones is now available on Steam

Skull and Bones was originally released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, the PC version is exclusively available on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store. Although the game didn’t do very well for many reasons, being limited to the Epic Games Store was also a major reason.

To compensate players for the wait, the developer is offering the game at a 60% discount, bringing the price of the game down from $70 to $24. In addition, the discount also applies to the Deluxe and Premium editions of the game, which are available at a price of $30 and $36, respectively.

Players don’t seem to be interested in the title

The game is available at discounted prices for two weeks, until September 5th, but players on the platform don’t seem to have any interest in playing it. The game’s all-time high on the platform is just 394 players, recorded 8 hours ago, and at the time of writing, there are only 369 players in the game.

The game currently has “mixed” reviews on the platform with 63 reviews and players think it will “extremely negative” soon. This is in line with the reviews the game has received since its release.

Players have also mocked the game for its “AAAA” Label and said that even free the game was too expensive considering how bad it is. The developer relaunched the game with Season 3, Into the Dragon’s Wake.

It brings a new storyline centered around two pirate lords, Li Tian Ning and Commander Zhang. The new season also brings a new ship called Battle Junk, new weapons and world events, and much more.
