After going through it again in the studio, Incubus brings Morning view back on stage.

The “Wish You Were Here” rockers will play their 2001 album in full on their US tour, which begins in Detroit on Friday. In May, Incubus released a re-recorded version of Morning viewwhich drummer Jose Pasillas says ABC Audio, is a good reflection of how they will play these songs on the tour.

“It’s largely because we’ve always played the songs that way,” says Pasillas. “And ‘since then’ probably means the last eight, nine, ten years.”

Together with Morning viewIncubus will play hits from their entire discography. Pasillas adds that the show’s production will be “bigger, better, cleaner, meaner” than previous tours.

“It just looks great,” he says, laughing. “It’s going to be some kind of spectacle.”

The spectacle will take place in various arenas, including the famous Madison Square Garden in New York City on August 29th. It will be Incubus’ first headlining show at Madison Square Garden since 2004.

“To be able to check that off your list of places you want to play is an accomplishment, so I’m really excited to play there again,” says Pasillas. “I’ve seen shows since we last played there, but we weren’t there to play, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
