Weekend to-do list: Caribbean parades and dog-friendly farmers market

BOSTON – Summer is only a few weeks away, so be sure to enjoy the beautiful weather at a fair, parade or dog-friendly farmers market this weekend in Massachusetts.

Caribbean-American Carnival and Parade in Worcester

The 11th Annual Worcester Caribbean American Carnival kicks off Sunday! Carnival-goers can enjoy cultural performances, beautiful costumes and shopping at local merchants before the parade begins at 1:30 p.m. This is a must-see at Institute Park in Worcester!

When: Sunday, August 25. Festival 12pm-7pm. Parade 1:30pm-4pm.

Where: The parade starts at Worcester City Hall. The festival takes place in Institute Park.

Caribbean American Carnival Association parade in Boston

If you can’t make it to the Worcester parade, there’s one in Boston too! Enjoy the Caribbean American Carnival Association of Boston parade, which begins at noon Saturday on Warren Street, Roxbury.

When: Saturday, August 24, from 12 to 18 o’clock

Where: Starting on Warren Street in Roxbury, continuing to Blue Hill Ave and ending at Glenway Street.

Cost: Starts at Warren Street, Roxbury to Blue Hill Ave, ends at Glenway St.

Handmade Market 2nd Annual

Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend at the 2nd Annual Handmade Markey in Chelmsford. Browse 100% handmade goods from over 50 local artists while enjoying live music and delicious food!

Attleboro Farmers Market

Looking for a fun activity for the whole family, including your four-legged friends? The dog-friendly Attleboro Farmers Market is held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Browse fresh produce and specialty foods at the state’s best farmers market. If you can’t make it, the market is held every Saturday through mid-October.

When: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. until October 12
