Universal reveals new video and images from Helios Grand Hotel at Epic Universe

If you are planning to Epic Universe, You might as well stay in a grand hotel. Welcome to the upcoming Helios Grand Hotel at Universal Epic Universe theme park.

“Basically, we were told to just go for it,” said Russ Dagon, Universal Creative SVP, “do what we’ve always wanted to do and have fun with this property, and that’s exactly what we’ve done. We’ve worked hand-in-hand with our creative studio from the beginning to create this synchronous experience between the park and the hotel.”

Named after the Greek sun god Helios, the hotel offers visitors direct access to the Epic Universe theme park.

“It will be a park hotel, so guests staying there will have exclusive access to the park and amazing views. Whether you’re dining there or staying there, it’s going to be amazing,” said theme park expert Annie Wilson of Adventuring with Annie (@AnniesUniUpdate).

According to Universal, the Mediterranean-style hotel will be the crown jewel of the new park. “They said the design will complement the design of Celestial Park, the central hub of Epic Universe, which the hotel directly connects to,” Blake Taylor told Attractions Magazine.

The 500 rooms include How to Train Your Dragon-themed suites designed especially for children, with the Isle of Berk theme park outside the windows.

“This was one of those where I immediately wondered why there are only a handful of these rooms? There should be a lot more. Give me a Dark Universe room and I’d stay there for a week,” theme park expert Jeremiah Good told LaughingPlace.com.
