Tolkien’s fans visit Middle Earth with slightly different interests. Some clearly consider the elves to be the best, while others like the world of the Shire and the hobbits the most. And there are still those who consider the dwarves to be their soul mates. But if it is the journeys of men that attract you the most, then you are in luck. The next trip to the world of The Lord of the Rings takes us into the history of Rohan and explores “the untold story behind the fortress of Helm’s Deep”. It is clear that The War of the RohirrimDirector Kenji Kamiyama knows exactly what he is doing when it comes to making an anime film version of The Lord of the Rings. The Lord of the Rings: The War of the RohirrimThe trailer of also cleverly lures the audience by reminding them of everything they love about Rohan in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Of course, the characters in this story are not necessarily known for The Lord of the Rings Fans stilleven in this animated form, all the hallmarks of Middle Earth are present. We see our favorite creatures like the Great Eagles, Oliphaents, Tentacle Monsters, and more. Éowyn even blows a Horn of Rohan to call her soldiers to battle. It gives us chills!

Of course it would not be The Lord of the Rings Movie without, well, Rings of Power. In the final moment of the trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, we see something that looks like the One Ring, perhaps in the clutches of Gollum?! It’s not entirely clear, but it definitely makes us curious to know more. We see the red thread of the rings binding themselves together The Lord of the Rings Story to the next.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim will be released in the US on December 13, 2024 and internationally on December 11, 2024. We’ll also hear more about the film soon, as it will be screening at NYCC in October.
