Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce star together in a new commercial for Wawa, the popular Philadelphia convenience store chain, which shows Jason Kelce adjusting to life as a “normal dad.”

In the commercial, released Thursday, Kylie Kelce, who helped direct the ad, can be seen jokingly speaking to the camera and explaining how Jason Kelce, a former star center for the Philadelphia Eagles who retired earlier this year, is adjusting to life as a normal father.

“He’s just a normal dad now,” Kylie Kelce says in the commercial over a shot of Jason Kelce fumbling with Wawa sandwiches while locking a car.

Kylie Kelce highlights other “normal dad” moments, like when Jason Kelce does “football stuff” while hauling groceries or when he “helps around the house” by stuffing lunchboxes with pre-packaged sandwiches.

“After retiring from the NFL, the Kelces are adjusting to their new lives. Kylie will pursue professional development and help direct Wawa’s new commercial, while Jason will take on the role of full-time dad, taking on simple tasks like packing lunches,” Wawa said in a press release.

Kylie Kelce, who was named honorary creative director in the press release, also shared a behind-the-scenes Instagram video of herself leading the project while playfully cheering on her husband, the Super Bowl champion.

“More emotion, J, like you mean business,” she instructs Jason Kelce as she sits in a director’s chair.

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce married in 2018 and are parents of three daughters. Kylie Kelce is from Pennsylvania and played field hockey for Cabrini University and continues to support young athletes in the sport.
