Devin Booker releases Nike Book 1 “All-Star” PE Summer 2025

Sneakerheads should be fully aware by now of Nike’s plans to bring back most of their past sneaker models, and we’ve seen the brand follow suit with retro releases of shoes like the Nike KD 4, old LeBron James silhouettes, and even classic Foamposites from the early 2000s. Now, Nike will be expanding its releases by bringing Devin Booker’s own, exclusive player colorways to the public.

Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns may have one of the hardest-to-find signature sneakers on the market right now, and perhaps the only sneaker that truly transcends the basketball court and makes the seamless transition to the streets. The Nike Book 1 is a low-profile, understated basketball sneaker that does it all and more when it comes to performance. However, its simple design and attention to detail have made it a must-have for sneakerheads looking to expand their rotation.

The Nike Book 1 first released during the 2023 holiday season in the “Chapter 1” colorway. It was extremely exclusive at first and has only been released publicly a few times since its launch. In the meantime, Devin Booker has been wearing custom PE (Player Exclusive) colorways during games, teasing fans with awesome editions that no one thought would be released to the public. Now, however, we’re getting word that some of these PE colorways will be available in the summer of next year.

First up is the release of the Nike Book 1 “1995 All-Star” edition, which Booker wore in his final All-Star appearance in Indianapolis. The shoes are inspired by the 1995 All-Star game in Phoenix and the iconic uniforms worn on the court by legends like Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon and Penny Hardaway. The teal/purple/orange jerseys remain a cultural phenomenon to this day, and fans are constantly calling for the NBA to return to ’90s-style uniforms for All-Star festivities.

This colorway of the Nike Book 1 features a purple suede upper accented by a patent leather Nike swoosh and a black midsole. We see the teal along the laces and the outline of the Nike swoosh, finished off with orange accents along the outsole and lace tips. Ever since fans saw Booker in these shoes, they’ve been hoping for a public release and a chance to get their hands on them.

While there is no official release date yet, these are currently rumored to be returning in Summer 2025 for $150. Given the limited run of the Nike Book 1 in previous releases, it’s safe to assume these will be an instant hit as soon as they drop. Rumors are circulating that more Nike Book 1 PE models are on the way, so stay tuned and follow our sneaker news for more current content and upcoming releases!
