Publisher Square Enix and developer Deck Nine Games have released a new trailer for Life is strange: double exposure which explores the forces that enable Max to investigate the supernatural crime at the heart of the story.

In addition to exploring Max Caulfield’s newly developed ability to jump between two parallel timelines, the deep dive also focused on her new Pulse ability. Pulse allows Max to peek into the opposite timeline before jumping through, as danger isn’t limited to just one timeline. Pulse also allows Max to eavesdrop on conversations happening on the other side, which is the perfect supernatural tool for an amateur detective.
Max must use both aspects of her new power to solve the impossible murder of her friend Safi. As Max moves between two increasingly different timelines, her power allows the player to solve unique puzzles, navigate the complex social dynamics of the campus, and explore all the secrets Caledon University has to offer.
Life is strange: double exposure will be released on October 29th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, followed by Switch at a later date.
