Knitted polo shirts, good whiskey and your new favorite ceramics

Knitted polo shirts, good whiskey and your new favorite ceramics

This is the Wishlist, a semi-regular roundup of chic new clothes, accessories, and gear that our editors want—and, for lack of a better word, “covet”—for one reason or another.

Today’s edition features handsome men’s fashion, beautiful watches and not one but two whiskeys. And a bit of pottery to round it all off.

Here are seven must-have items you should covet now.

Percival x Prince tennis clothing collection
Percival x Prince Tennis

What it is: British menswear brand Percival has teamed up with tennis icons Prince for a new collection aptly named “Percival x Prince Tennis.”

Why we want it: If you follow the adage “look good, play good,” you might want to get that nice polo shirt, pinstripe shorts and cap for your next game, but save the double-breasted blazer and matching pants for off-court activities.

Vuustra knitted polo
vustra

What it is: Vustra makes stylish, sustainable basics, including t-shirts, polo shirts, button-down shirts and shackets. Our new favorite: this luxurious knit polo.

Why we want it: The polo shirt is made from 100% Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton in a jacquard knit for an understated yet stylish look. The regular fit, classic collar and three-button placket make it a smart choice for the office, dinners out and basically anywhere shirting is needed.

Wyoming Whiskey Outryder
Wyoming Whiskey

What it is: Wyoming Whiskey Outryder is an American straight whiskey that consists of two mashbills: an “Almost Rye Whiskey” and a High Rye Bourbon.

Why we want it: OK, technically it’s neither a bourbon nor a rye. But it’s delicious. The 100-proof whiskey is full of character and texture, with flavors of buttered bread, rye spices and brown sugar, followed by notes of sweet maple and baking spices.

Baker 13 Bourbon
Beam Suntory

What it is: Baker’s Bourbon has reissued its 13-year-old Single Barrel Bourbon, examining how time and location in storage affect flavor from barrel to barrel.

Why we want it: This limited edition bottling is an extra aged version of the seven-year-old flagship. It’s medium-bodied, with flavors of vanilla, caramel, toasted nuts and fruit. It’s 107 proof and needs nothing more than a glass to serve it in. Maybe some ice if you like it wild.

Luminnox Pacific Diver automatic watches
Luminox

What it is: Luminox has just introduced the first automatic watches in its Pacific Diver collection. The 3100 series includes a trio of watches with multiple options for dials, bezels and bracelets.

Why we want it: You don’t have to dive to appreciate a well-made piece of wrist jewelry, but it’s nice to know that the functionality is there.

Taylor Stitch Danny D Pottery
Tailor’s stitch

What it is: A new collaboration between Taylor Stitch and LA-based potter Daniel Dooreck, aka Danny D. The carefully curated Mud Capsule includes a few shirts, a jacket, vases, and a mug.

Why we want it: This is Taylor Stitch’s first time venturing into the homewares space, and one look at the artist’s rock-and-roll-meets-western-inspired pottery is enough and we’d say they’ve nailed it.

Crafthouse Fortessa Tea Strainer
Crafthouse x Fortessa

What it is: Crafthouse and Fortessa have developed this multi-layered infusion vessel that allows you to mix your favorite alcohol with multiple layers of ingredients such as fruits, herbs and botanicals.

Why we want it: This thing makes infusing cocktails easier than ever. Add a handful of different flavor enhancers, pour in some alcohol, and wait. With that large exposed surface, it doesn’t take long to create flavorful infusions that can be used in cocktails or passed out to the crowd.
