Kelly Brook admits she is ‘completely devastated’ as she makes heartbreaking confession after heated argument with husband Jeremy Parisi on Celebrity Race Across The World

Kelly Brook admitted on Wednesday’s episode of Celebrity Race Across The World that she was “completely devastated” after a heated argument with her husband Jeremy Parisi.

The 44-year-old model teamed up with her husband for an epic trip through South America, but a major mishap on the trip led to a falling out between the two.

Due to a mistake, Kelly and Jeremy were miles ahead of their celebrity rivals and ended up stranded in Brazil, without the country’s money, after spending too much money on a taxi.

Jeremy decided they should take a taxi, but that cost them four crucial hours in the race. Kelly’s decision to take a coastal route also added to their time.

Kelly rushed down the street to find a bank where she could change money and said to Jeremy:“Oh my God, that was a terrible decision. You took the taxi and then we were stuck.”

“If we continue at this pace, we will continue to make these mistakes.”

Jeremy hit back: “We are on the same side!”

Kelly said, “I know we’re on the same side, but the fact is we were so eager to get out and get on the road that we’re now wandering around an unfamiliar city trying to find a bank.”

The couple eventually found a bus to continue their journey, but only after missing two previous buses.

Visibly exhausted after spending the entire night in a bus station, Kelly admitted: “It’s 11:19am and we’ve missed two buses, so we’re going to try and catch the 1pm one. And we need to get down there now because I’m, quite frankly, completely worn out.”

“We are literally exhausted. Jeremy and I never argue. And I mean never. And that’s a real challenge for us.”

Kelly and her husband Jeremy will compete against three other celebrity couples: television presenter Jeff Brazier and his youngest son Freddie, radio star Scott Mills and his now-husband Sam Vaughn, and actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen.

The duo’s journey began at the gateway to the Amazon in Belém, northern Brazil, and the pairs must pass through five checkpoints before reaching the finish line in southern Chile.

“Wow, we’re really behind,” Kelly gasped. “What did we do wrong? What did we do wrong?!”

While Jeremy suggested it was Kelly’s decision to take the coastal route, she admitted: “I think I get the blame for that because I wanted to take the coastal route and going inland was actually the most direct route.”

The star recalled the “honeymoon from hell” in a recent interview when she spoke about the challenge.

After mistakenly believing the arduous 12,500-kilometer journey through South America was an alternative to a honeymoon, Kelly told Closer magazine: “We hadn’t had a honeymoon yet and I said to Jeremy we should think of this as a fun alternative, a once in a lifetime experience.”

“Sometimes it was the honeymoon from hell – and sometimes it was just wonderful. This has to be the most unforgettable honeymoon ever!”

Celebrity Race Across The World continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
