Prepare for a Halloween spectacle like no other, as Boston’s own rock juggernaut, Neighborhave just announced an epic three-date Halloween tour of New England. This unforgettable series of shows, accompanied by the powerhouse trio LaMP, kicks off on Thursday, October 31st at the renowned Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont. The energy builds on Friday, November 1st when the bands take on one of New England’s most popular venues, the State Theater in downtown Portland, Maine. Fans can expect magic in the air as Neighbor returns to that stage following last December’s grandiose performance of their rock odyssey “Silver.” The tour concludes with a spirited hometown performance at the historic Wilbur Theater in Boston’s Theater District on Saturday, November 2nd.
Last year, Neighbor packed the Wilbur to capacity and treated their loyal Neighbors to a full performance of their debut album, as well as a long set of deep improvised interpretations of classic tunes that recalled their celebrated days with Thunder Road. This Halloween tour promises more surprises, with both bands set to deliver stunning performances to their old and new fans.
And there’s more exciting news: Neighbor will kick off their “Holy Cow!” tour through the Midwest from October 10th to 20th, hitting major cities like Buffalo, Columbus, Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Madison, Milwaukee and Cincinnati. They’ll finish off with a two-night show at Martyrs’ in Chicago with their friends Assembly of Dust.

Boston-based band Neighbor began their career over 35 years ago – though they didn’t know it at the time. Childhood neighbors Richard James (vocals, keys) and Lyle Brewer (guitar) shared fences and melodies as they grew up and explored their musical paths. The quartet was completed in 2019 with the addition of Dan Kelly (bass) and Dean Johnston (drums). Their creative journey began with a weekly gig that grew thanks to the passion of their fans, the “Neighbors,” who have helped expand the band’s reach across the country.
Neighbor’s dynamic catalog of hundreds of songs combines sophisticated compositions, soulful ballads, and a fearless approach to improvisation.
